You met my friends Lauren and Alex a few weeks ago in the Food Truck Bazaar video. Later this month, they're moving to New York City. Since they'll be living in a 325 square foot apartment (!) with two dogs (!!!), they need your help getting rid of everything.
Come by their house this Saturday, August 6th, starting at 8:00am for their garage sale. "Everything must go," including indoor and outdoor furniture, clothes, kitchenware, DVDs, sporting goods, a grill, and a lawnmower. Also, there will be free giveaways.

- Plan your visits in advance. Use sites that show the location of the sale and what will be sold, such as Craigslist Garage & Moving Sales, GSALR.com, or YardSaleSearch.
- Come early. Most yard sales start at 7:00 or 8:00am, and the best items go first.
- Bring cash. Obviously, most (if not all) garage sellers don't accept cards. People are also wary of accepting checks.
- Don't be afraid to haggle. My strategy is to give a reason for lowering the price. For example, you could say "This CD has a scratch on it, I'll give you half" or "Can I get these four books for the price of three?"
