Release Party: 15 Views of Orlando

Join Burrow Press at Urban ReThink (625 E Central Blvd) this Tuesday, January 31st 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00pm, for the release party of 15 Views of Orlando.  Get to know a different side of Orlando:

From the neon strip of Little Vietnam to a desolate Albertsons parking lot, 15 Views of Orlando takes the reader on a secret tour of the City Beautiful. Told by 15 authors in a series of loosely linked fiction, the story is a (successful) experiment in setting, theme and community. The book also features interviews with Philip F. Deaver, Lindsay Hunter and six other contributors, as well as a Florida Lit manifesto by John King.

Click here to pre-order the book for pickup at the party or delivery to your house.  15 Views costs $15 and all proceeds go to the local children's literacy nonprofit Page 15.

If you're in the mood for more local literature and writers, don't miss the monthly prose reading series There Will Be Words.  Urban ReThink hosts local authors on the second Tuesday of every month (with the next one being February 14th).  The event starts with a casual meet-n-greet at 6:00pm; readings happen from 7:00 to 8:00pm.
