Orlando's Independent and Ethnic Grocery Stores

Let's face it, Publix is a Florida institution and always will be.  With innovations like the downtown Orlando Publix, and classic designs like the College Park store, they'll be around for a while.  However, it's important not to forget about small, independently-owned businesses.

Orlando has quite a selection of ethnic, farm-direct, and family-owned markets.  Check out the map below for some of the ones located in Downtown, Winter Park, and East Orlando.  Don't forget about Indian markets south of Downtown and the German Magnolia Deli in downtown Sanford.

Furthermore, the Sentinel has a great article that provides a breakdown for grocery stores by country in all of Central Florida.

Is your favorite store missing?  Leave a comment and I'll add it!
