The spring semester is winding down and all through Orlando sightings of the rare collegio studialous (studying college students) are increasing. Watching these poor souls scrambling to finish essays in coffee shops across the city has inspired us to revisit our hugely-popular Orlando's College-Sponsored Events post with more FREE college events this week.

Thurs, April 18:
- Annual Symphony Under the Stars, (UCF Orchestra), 7:30-9 pm, UCF Reflecting Pond.
- An Evening with Oliver Stone, 7:30 pm, Alfond Sports Center. This one's sure to be... interesting....(Be sure to check out the Food Truck Fundraiser before and after this event)
- Choral Concert (Ft.Chamber Choir and Men's Choir), 7:30-8:30pm, Rollins College's Keene Hall
Fri, April 19:
- Spring Opera Workshop, 7:30pm, Valencia East Campus Performing Arts Center. Opera and Musical theater students take the stage to share music from favorite operas and Broadway shows.
- Film Club Movie Night- Argo, 6-9pm, Seminole State Theater Sanford, Lk Mary Campus)
Sun, April 21:
- A Knight of Soundtracks V - Broadway! (UCF Concert Band), 7-8:30 pm, UCF Visual Arts Building Auditorium.

I've seen a couple of other performances at other Centers, but this was my first time in here. It was amazing! Great venue, it's smaller than Fisher Place and Carnegie Place but it is still a fair sized venue.
ReplyDeleteI sure wish my college had events like these when I was in school! All we had were things like team building events and stuff... which were cool, but weren't really anything compared to this!
