Feel like you missed out on the obligatory college toga party? Parliament House has got you covered (pun?) with their Toga Party. $100 goes to the best toga, so get your draping skills ready! 9:00pm, FREE entrance.
Finally, join the Orlando Bike Polo Club for Cruisin for a Brewzin an eight-bar bike pub crawl through Thornton Park, Downtown, and Mills50 this Saturday night. Meet at Lizzie McCormack's at 6:00pm to begin a debaucherous night with bike/beer challenges at every bar. The buzz around town is that this is going to be HUGE and insane. To steal a line from Erin Sullivan at Orlando Weekly - YOLO?
Sunday, April 28th
If you're still alive after the bike pub crawl:
Head over to the Timucua White House (2000 S Summerlin Ave) for Matt Peters' marimba recital featuring the UCF Flute Studio. 7:30pm, FREE (donations welcome).
From noon to 3:00pm, check out live music from the vocalist and saxophonist, Matt Festa, FREE at Casa Feliz in Winter Park. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the museum and flower gardens. Artists are invited to paint or draw on-site during the event.
Lastly, don't forget the weekly Sunday farmers markets in Downtown Orlando and College Park's Sunday Brunch Market, as well as Winter Park Food Truck Sundays.

so excited for the Orlando City Soccer game and the related food drive benefiting CFOC! :)
ReplyDeleteAgreed, soccer games are so much fun plus it's nice to see that spectators will be bringing in canned goods for a good cause. Very heartwarming.
