American Craft Beer Week 2013 in Orlando: Part 2

In Part 1 we took a look at Orlando Brewing's special calendar for this week. Below are even more beer-related events going on around town to celebrate American Craft Beer Week 2013:

All Week

Come into Total Wine & More (2712 E Colonial Dr) any afternoon this week to Meet the Experts behind some of your favorite beers and to enjoy some free samples. Click here for the complete calendar.

Monday, May 13th

The Orlando International Fringe Festival starts this week, and kicking it off is the 2013 Fringe Pub Crawl. Pick up your $10 wrist band at The Imperial (1800 N Orange Ave) or Wally's (1001 Mills Ave) and walk stumble your way around Ivanhoe Row and Mills50. Each of the eight venues will feature drinks and entertainment.

Total Wine & More (Colonial Plaza) invites you to two free tastings: CBA Beer Tasting (3:00pm to 6:00pm) and the American Craft Beer Week Tasting - Meet the Expert (4:00pm to 7:00pm).

Head over to Red Light Red Light for their Vertical Tasting of Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barley Wine. Vertical tasting, huh?? A vertical tasting means that you will taste one libation with samples of different years to taste the evolution of the beer over time- $15, 7:00pm.

Tuesday, May 14th

Total Wine & More's American Craft Beer Week Tasting - Meet the Expert (1:00pm to 4:00pm), City Magic Hat Beer Tasting (4:00pm to 7:00pm), Shipyard Beer Tasting (6:00pm to 8:00pm), Red Light's Cigar City Tasting ($12, 6:30pm)

Wednesday, May 15th

Our Pick
Come celebrate Craft Beer Week at The Plaza Live (425 N Bumby Ave) this Wednesday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. This is a free event with live music, brewmaster talks, and food trucks. You can also buy a $10 beer sampling pass good for 10 samples at four different breweries.

Don't miss your last chance to 'get Teeged' at Teege's Last Nite at Red Light Red Light. Orlando's favorite ginger will be tending the bar and making great recommendations, so be sure to drop by to cheers him during his last shift (8pm-on)!

Free tasting of Cigar City Brewing at ABC Fine Wine and Spirits in Ocoee (10835 W Colonial Dr).

Thursday, May 16th

Come to the Winter Park Mellow Mushroom (2015 Aloma Ave) for a pint of Highland Brewing and keep the glass!

Friday, May 17th

Cigar City will host a tasting of a variety of its beers at Total Wine & More.

Come to World of Beer in Altamonte Srpings (155 Cranes Roost Blvd) starting at 6:00pm for a pint of Sam Adams Grumpy Monk Beligan IPA and keep the glass!

Saturday, May 18th

Come out to Heritage Square (65 E Central Blvd. in front of the History Center in Downtown Orlando) this Saturday for the 20th Annual Florida International Beer Festival from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Tickets are $30 and include unlimited beer samples all night, soft drinks, food samples from area restaurants, and live music.

  1. Heading to Rogue Pub. They are running a special everyday, highlighting a different style everyday! On Thursday night they are doing a raise your favorite pint toast to ACBW @ 8pm.
