Thursday, June 13th
Feeling like you need a little testosterone in your life? Well Anime Nite Orlando is presenting this year's Manime- the manly Anime night at Bikkuri Lounge (you know- the weird room upstairs with the disco ball). 'MANIME is over-the-top, testosterone-filled, violent anime featuring men being men that do manly things.' This event is FREE. Doors open at 8pm, includes a prize raffle and drink specials.

Summertime Swap & Shop. Register Friday between 6:00 and 7:00pm and swap from 7:00 to 9:00pm at 1300 Brookhaven Drive.
Out with the old, in with the new -- in style at the latest installment of Other Peoples Property's Summertime Swap.
While you're there, enjoy the food trucks, street vendors, and live music at the Virginia Drive Live! street party, going on from 6:00 to 9:00pm.

For more food trucks, come to the Casselberry Food Truck Bazaar (95 Triplet Lake Dr) from 6:00 to 9:00pm.
If you're on the east side of town, stop by Avalon Park for a free outdoor movie screening of Here Comes the Boom, complete with free popcorn, bounce house, and local vendors.
On the other side of town, Winter Garden's historic Garden Theatre will show Goonies at 7:00pm for $5.
To all art, jazz, and wine lovers: Don't miss these two musical events happening Friday night. Lake Concord Park in Casselberry is hosting Tropical Summer Night (6:00-9:00pm, free) and the Maitland Art Center is showcasing The Dan Jordan Trio as part of its Summer Concert Series (7:00pm, $3).
And if that isn't enough for your Friday- stop by the Geek Easy for a Starstruck: a SciFi staged reading, some sexy burlesque (care of Orlando's nerdy burlesque queens, Skill Focus: Burlesque), The Mud Flappers (best folk band 2 years running by Orlando Weekly Readers), and a silent auction. PLUS, the whole thing is a a fundraiser for the Grown Ass Woman Brigade. Suggested donation of $10, 18+.
Saturday, June 15th
The Orlando Predators take on the Cleveland Gladiators at the Amway Center this Saturday at 7:00pm. Come out to support your local AFL arena team with tickets starting at $15.
Head over to Beefy King to grab a delicious Roast Beef Sandwich and celebrate their 45 year anniversary!
Sunday, June 16th ~ Father's Day
This Sunday is Father's Day. Here are some ideas of what to do with dad in and around Orlando:
- Make him laugh with a special Father's Day Improv Show at SAK. The show starts at 3:00pm and is FREE for dads!
- Take him to the movies, for example Major League at the Enzian. The movie starts at 1:00pm, but come early for a FREE Yuengling Draft and other food and drink specials at the Eden Bar.
- Help him finally realize his rock star dreams by dusting off his old guitar and brining him to UrbanReThink for Learn Guitar with Roger Docking, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 1:00pm (call ahead!).
- Get him a deal at one of the following places:
- Free admission for dads at the Orange County History Center
- Free admission for dads at Medieval Times
- Free admission to Pirates Dinner Adventure
- Free admission to Leu Gardens
- Free 22 oz. steak at Charley's Steak House
