Retro Game Night at The History Center: Proving adults will act like fools when allowed to roam a museum unattended while still riding the high of a recent Jenga victory. |

It's time again for The History Center's Retro Game Night, this time as Halloween Horror Nights Edition. From 7:00pm to midnight, dress as your favorite classic monster, enjoy free board games and nostalgic treats, hot dogs and pizza, and a cash bar. ($5 cash at the door; free for members.)

Another Swap & Shop! Head over to Rollins College for Other People's Property's 2013 Fall Swap & Shop to swap your clothes and books for other hip Orlandoans' clothes and books. We must admit, we were pretty jelly of the loot some of you came home with last time... Plus Urban ReThink is hosting the book swap, so it's going to be pretty rad. Take your hand-me-ups and $15 to Rollins from 6-7pm and then start throwing elbows when the swap starts at 7pm.

20 slides each displayed for 20 seconds while someone tells a story about themselves, their work, or their hobby: that's PechaKucha Night Orlando. Come out and mingle with some interesting Orlandoans (including a Dungeon Master who we interviewed recently) and hear their stories at the Orange Studio (1121 N Mills Ave, $10, 7:00pm to 10:00pm). And maybe, just maybe, someone will tell us how to pronounce pechakucha.... *theORLANDOAN does not guarantee that you will leave knowing how to pronounce 'pechakucha'
