It's that time of year again where we make cliché German jokes and drink beer by the liter (eff those Imperial pints). That's right: It's Oktoberfest season! With the original 'Fest kicking off last weekend, Orlando bier establishments are quick to follow suit.

Sunday, Sept. 29: Stardust Video & Coffee's 5th annual Dustoberfest 2013 (1842 E Winter Park Rd)- "It's a special day for all as we present our Quazi-Deutschlander shenanigans… brats, kraut, beer and lot’s of people running about in their lederhosen! It’s like Oktoberfest… but really, really lame."... That's right, Starting at 9:00pm it's Miriam Ruckert's Uber Dance Party ~ We don't know what that is, but bring it on, Miriam!
Friday, Oct. 4: Whole Foods (8003 Turkey Lake Rd) is getting in on the action with their 4th Annual Oktoberfest celebration. $15 gets you in to sample more than 60 different types of beer, plus enjoy live music, food and entertainment. 6:30 - 9:00pm.
Saturday, Oct. 5: Bruno will be cooking up some good ol' traditional German fare at Oblivion Taproom's Octoberfest 2013. And then of course there's the beer. Boots full of it.
Saturday, Oct. 5: Wall Street Plaza is getting in on the action with this year's Blocktoberfest- featuring unlimited Sam Adamns Octoberfest beer from 6:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m.($20 + you get your own Sam Adams stein to hoist around the Plaza), two Stein hoisting competitions at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. with prizes, and you'll get a chance to 'Shoot the Boo't with a shot of Jager poured down a huge German boot ice luge. Because why not?
Saturdays, October 5 & 26: The German American Society of Central Florida, if for nothing else, is known for their epic Oktoberfest Celebration. A measly $5 donation (kids <12 get in free) gets you into the hottest party in town. Forget Ramstein- Dan Witucki & the Heimatland Musikanten are going to Bring. The. House. Down.

Fri - Sat, October 11-12: The Avalon Park Oktoberfest is kostenlos (that's free to all you uncultured swines) and includes alpine dancing!

Thur.,October 17: For Trucks & Tech II : Trucktoberfest there will be an Oktoberfest theme featuring German inspired food from each food truck - Remember, participants are encouraged to come in costume. The event will feature some of Orlando's best food trucks along with technology discussion, demonstrations and all new Startup Alley. FREE, 6:00pm at Lake Eola.
