Looking for cool things to do in Orlando this weekend? Well, look no further! Below are our top picks for parties, festivals, movies, and more in Central Florida.

Weekend and Cinco de Mayo Events

This Saturday and Sunday is the St. Johns River Festival of the Arts in historic Sanford. Lots of art, demonstrations, music, and food to explore.

Cinco de Mayo isn't until Monday, but that isn't keeping these early birds from celebrando early:

Friday, May 2nd

SunRail Central Florida / Orlando Commuter Rail Kickoff
SunRail is starting this week! Even better, it's free until May 16th. So hop on and check it out this Friday.

Don't miss the opening night of Snap! Space's newest show, Edge of a Dream. Awesome art, good drinks, and a live DJ. Best of all, no cover (but please register).

Saturday, May 3rd

Happy Free Comic Book Day! Stop by A Comic Shop for your free comic, then hang out at the shop's Geek Easy for some grub and drinks.

After you get your free comic book, check out Earth Day in the Park for a free tree, workshops, kids activities, and more (Winter Park; 10:00am to 2:00pm).

OMG, more freebies: Retromended Vintage is throwing a Garden Tea Party this Saturday from 1:00 to 6:00pm. Free tea cups (first 10 guests!), free raffle, drinks, and snacks. Dress nice, because immediately after the tea party, head over to the Hammered Lamb for the Kentucky Derby. You could win a $50 tab for best hat!

Orlando / Central Florida Vintage Clothes

Vespr Craft Coffee & Allures is hosting a Champagne Tasting this Saturday at 7:00pm, with five bubblies accompanied by a selection of sweet and savory hors d'Ĺ“uvre. "But, Orlanoan, it's $22! That's over your $20 limit!" Worry not, dear reader, for we have a code for you. Enter orlandoan during checkout and save $2. But hurry, tickets are going quickly!

It might rain, it might not; it's literally 50/50 as of right now. Nonetheless, catch the singalong version of Frozen at Maitland's Movie in the Park, this Saturday at 8:00pm.

Sunday, May 4th

BABs (bad-ass bitches), listen up! This Sunday at 3:00pm is your chance to Join the Revolution--the Orlando Derby Revolution, that is. Learn more about roller derby, meet the team, and even try out.

This Enzian's FilmSlam'14 starts this Sunday! Come see the best local indie and student films. Your vote could send a film to the Brouhaha Film & Video Showcase in November.

May the Fourth Orlando Sip + Stroll 2014
