Friday, July 11th

July 4th is over, but here are two important American milestones to celebrate: First, Krispy Kreme Turns 77, so grab some 77¢ original glazed donuts today. Next, it's July 7th, so visit 7-11 for Free Small Slurpee Day. Take that Slurpee to Stardust, and they'll put a shot of vodka in it for $4. It's summer, bitches!

It's time for another Mount Dora Art Stroll, so stop by Friday night between 6:00 and 8:00pm. Closer to Orlando, the Art & History Museums Maitland's Summer Concerts in the Garden starts at 7:00pm with readings, live music, bar, free popcorn.

Casselberry's Art and Music in the Park at Lake Concord Park from 6:00 to 9:00pm. Also there will be the TheDailyCity Food Truck Bazaar with 15 gourmet food trucks.

Saturday, July 12th

Downtown's Cafe Annie is hosting The Black Mxrkt Tradeshow this Saturday from 2:00 to 7:00pm. This free event includes the Florida Streetwear Expo, music, food, drinks, and giveaways.

If you haven't already, check out the People, Places and Things exhibit at The Gallery at Avalon Island's Artist Talks and Closing Event. Starting at noon, enjoy free coffee and bagels, see the show, and listen to artists discuss their works.

Vive la France in the Audubon Park Garden District! For the sixth year in a row, APGD hosts its popular Bastille Day Celebration, from 6:00 to 10:00pm. This free event includes everything French, from Marie Antoinette and pétanque to live music and, of course, plenty of wine.

Orlando Pub Crawl is at it again with the 9th Annual Crazy '80s Pub Crawl. Tickets are $18 online/$20 at the door and include four drinks and plenty of other drink specials. Join almost 2,000 drunks party-goers in Downtown Orlando this Saturday at 7:30pm.

Also, don't miss S P A C E - F E S T, a fundraiser party for one of Orlando's most interesting places. There will be workshops, readings, and a bunch of things I didn't really understand from the event listing; $5 donation.

Sunday, July 13th

TheDailyCity's Food Truck Bazaar is back in Orlando this Sunday. Stop by Fashion Square Mall between 6:00 and 9:00pm for over two dozen mobile restaurants.

"City Beautiful isn't just an idea. It's not just a phrase. It's a vision." Find out more about how you can participate in the City Beautification Project #thankfulorlando, this Sunday at Lake Eola starting at noon.

What's better than cold brews and cute stuff? NOTHING. You can find both at Redlight Redlight's Summer Sale, with Other Peoples Property, The Pop Parlous, Su Laing, My Yard Farm, and more. It's happening this Sunday from 5:00 to 9:00pm.

This Sunday at 3:00pm is the World Cup 2014 final. Don't miss what is sure to be a nail-biting match between Germany and Argentina by checking out our Where to Watch the 2014 World Cup in Orlando post. (You'll find us cheering on Die Mannschaft at Schumann's Jäger Haus on Church Street!)

  1. The decor was laced with interior dark wood and tea lights- absolutely beautiful! All of the food by the event coordinator was also amazing. I had multiple servings of the delicious lamb entrée.
