If you haven't been (and if you have, you should go again!), visit TheDailyCity Pop Up Shop all weekend long. The shop if full of local goods made by 30 local artists and designers. Hours are Friday noon to 8:00pm, Saturday 10:00am to 8:00pm, and Sunday 10:00am to 6:00pm. Oh, and psst, be on the lookout for three new Orlandoan shirt designs!

Friday, September 5th

Start your weekend the fit way and join CommuteOrlando for the First Friday Bike Ride, meeting in the Mennello Museum parking lot at 6:00pm.

The Faith Arts Village Orlando is hosting its Motel Studios @ FAVO First Friday Art Show from 5:00 to 9:00pm. Come see 36 visiting and permanent artists' studios, buy original pieces, and eat at one of the food trucks.

Don't miss September's installation of Leu Gardens' Date Night Movie. The gardens open at 6:00pm and the movie starts at 8:00pm. Grab your tickets (free for members, $6 adults, $3 kids) and bring your picnic blankets and wine to see Stuck in Love. Up north, Casselberry's Lake Concord Park is showing The LEGO Movie for free as part of the Movie in the Park series. The movie starts at dusk, but come early to visit the food and drink vendors. 

Stop by Orlando Brewing this Friday night for happy hour until 6:00pm and stay for live music (acoustic Americana / indie rock) by local band Beemo at 9:00pm.

Friday Night 80s/90s Trivia, anyone? It's happening this Friday from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Harp & Celt, where you can make stupid guesses provide answers for your chance to win a $30 gift card.

Saturday, September 6th

It's like the adult swim of the museum world: Science Night Live. It's your chance to see all of the exhibits with special presentations, live music, trivia, food, and drinks (that also means it's a 21+ event). It's all going down from 8:00 to 11:00pm and tickets are free for members and $15 for non-members.

Local coffee blogger Jimmy Sherfey first presented his idea for the Florida Coffee Symposium at the Orlando SOUP's inaugural event this past May. This weekend, it's happening! Specialty coffee vendors from across the state will convene to discuss all things coffee, from fair trade and supply chains to retail trends and, of course, what makes a good cup. Events will occur at different times from 8:30am to 5:00pm at different price points; the General Expo and short sessions are free and open to the public from 11:00am to 5:00pm in East End Market's upstairs main room.

Pokemon Stadium Tournament for charity. Need we say more? It's happening this Saturday from 2:00 to 6:00pm at The Geek Easy; $10 to enter or donate whatever you can to be a spectator.

Sunday, September 7th

Relax into Sunday with Music at the Casa, Casa Feliz's Sunday open house with classical musicians Aaron Hilbun, Lisa Ferrigno, and Friends. This free event is from noon to 3:00pm and includes a tour of the house museum and light refreshments.
