It's Come Out with Pride week in Orlando!!! Get ready for tons of events with tons of costumes and tons of LOVE.
Thursday, Oct. 9th
Come out to Enzian's Popcorn Flicks in the Park in Winter Park to see The Mummy. Forget Brendan Frasier- this is the 1932 classic! Free, 8pm, bring a blanket/lawn chairs!
Get your costume on and head over to Nerd Nite Orlando! If you haven't been before, you NEED to check it out! Starts at 7pm, but get there early to grab a seat! (will there be a presi on cosplay? You know it!)
Going to be in Winter Park anyway? Get your ass to the museum! The Cornell Fine Arts Museum is showing The Legend of COOL “DISCO” DAN. This doc tells the story of Washington, D.C. in the 1980s through the eyes of D.C. graffiti legend, COOL “DISCO” DAN. Intro by Dexos,
local muralist/graffiti artist. FREE, 6pm
A little too wholesome? Go out to Bullit Bar to watch Talbi Kweli rock out with Orlando's own Niko Is! 9pm, $10 (you read that right. only $10. how is this possible?!?!)
Thornton Park's 2nd Thursday Wine & Art Walk is Halloween-themed! $10 gets you a stamp, a glass, and a map of all the locations where you will be greeted with a complimentary pour of wine, beer, or cocktail!
Friday, Oct. 10th

Get your pride on at Come Out with Pride's Block Party at Lake Ivanhoe in front of The Hammered Lamb! 7pm, FREE!
How about another Culture Pop in Maitland! $5, 6:30pm, and this time it includes Literature Out Loud- kickass local lit readings!
An aerial artist, an art show, magic, a spectacle, an interactive art event, and a unicycle. All of this and more at 10.10.14 at the Orange Studio in Mills50. FREE, 7pm
But if you do nothing else on Friday night, go to Snap! After Dark2: A Creative Social Salon, sponsored by Come Out with Pride! There will be a live interactive fashion photoshoot, soulful performances, exotic spirits, exceptional art and video projections. $25 (I know, it's a bit over our $20 limit, but we had to include it!)

Saturday, Oct. 11th
Not enough animal dressed as humans in your life? Get your fix at Barks and Burgers in Orlando Festival Park. $15. Oh yeah... and vote for your favorite burger!
PRIDE DAY! (for 'thrifty' folks)
12pm - Pride Festival! Come down to lake Eola and stroll through the park as 150+ vendors and orgs (with a new family fun zone that includes Orlando City Soccer players...MHM!)
4pm - Pride Parade! If you're not in it, go hang out around the roads in Thornton Park to catch all the amazingness!
5pm - Dance your sweaty little heart out at ClubH2O. Lakeside dancing, in-and-out privileges, $5
9pm - Fireworks over Lake Eola! Free and FABULOUS!! Take your fella/lady out there and sneak a smooch during the 15 minute show!
10pm - AND finally, Lil Kim at Parliament House. Because why the fuck not, that's why. $15/$20 at the door
Coinciding with the John Waters Cult Art Show, The Falcon's Classy Ass Costume Party closes out PRIDE DAY in the Gayborhood!! After fireworks over Lake Eola at 9pm, head over to The Falcon to pay tribute to the Pope of Filth, Mr John Waters. Bring your hairspray, your polyester, your cha cha heels and trampolines, wear your pencil thin mustache and don't forget to smile! 8pm - 2am
Sunday, Oct. 12th
The Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra's 58th Concert Season opens with this concert at the Bob Carr. Insanely talented kids playing great, classic music. Get cultured and go support! $8-$16.
