This Saturday, the Orlando Museum of Art kicks off the holiday season with the 28th edition of the Festival of Trees. $10 adults/$6 kids gets you into this winter wonderland, as well as the museum's other exhibits.

Saturday through Monday, the Enzian is hosting the 16th Annual Central Florida Jewish Film Festival. Individual movie tickets are $11; times vary.

The Orlando Repertory Theatre presents A Christmas Story: The Musical, from now until December 28th every Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 and 5:30pm. Tickets are $18 for adults, $16 senior/student/military, and $12 for kids.

Friday, November 14th

Kick off your weekend with a one-of-a-kind bar crawl: the November Conductor Crawl. Meet at Ceviche on Church Street at 6:00pm, take SunRail up to Winter Park to grab a drink, and then head back down to Church Street for a nightcap.

Here's one for the Lake County peeps (or anyone willing to travel): the Mount Dora 2nd Friday Art Stroll is happening this Friday from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

"Red-hot blues and ice-cold brews" are two key components to Casselberry's second annual Craft Beer & Blues Festival, going on at Lake Concord Park from 5:00 to 9:00pm.

Saturday, November 15th

Top Pick
Our favorite reading series turns two! Come celebrate at Functionally Literate Presents: Jeff VanderMeer with a reading and Q&A by both the New York Times-bestselling author Jeff VanderMeer and Usman Tanveer Malik. This free event takes place at 7:00pm at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center.


Before the reading, come out to East End Market's Bookmark It for Florida Bookstore Day. This is your chance to meet eight different authors (every hour from 10:00am to 4:00pm) for readings, Q&As, and workshops.

Saturday night, Wall Street Plaza's FSU vs. Miami Block Party starts at 7:00pm with an outdoor showing and drink specials.

Get a head start on your small business holiday shopping at the ICS Bizarre Bazaar, this Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. 70+ vendors; $5 entry.

This Saturday at noon, the Gallery at Avalon Island is hosting six artists to discuss their processes behind their work at the Between Fact and Fiction show.


Sunday, November 16th

This weekend, don't miss Southern Fried Sunday at Will's Pub, with performances by The Orange Blossom Trails, The Bloody Jug Band, and Due South. Your $7 cover also includes a BBQ dinner buffet (!); doors at 5:30pm.

It's bigger, it's better, it's the Orlando Toy and Comic Con! Check it out this Sunday starting at 10:00am.
