Weekend Preview: November 20th - 23rd, 2014

Weekend Events.

Take out a second mortgage now, because the 5-Year Anniversary Rifle Paper Company Sidewalk Sale is this Friday (9:00am-8:00pm) and Saturday (10:00am-5:00pm).

Through Sunday, catch OMArt's Festival of Trees from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Tickets to the winter wonderland and the museum itself are $10 / $6 kids.

Thursday, November 20th

Rogue Pub on Curry Ford is hosting a Sushi Beer Dinner this Thursday at 7:00pm. $20 gets you four sushi rolls (by Sushi and Seoul) paired with four Founders Brewing brews. It also includes a special (liquid) dessert and a goodie bag. RSVP! (And maybe get a DD...)

This month's Ladies Fashion Hour (a fashion happy hour at The Falcon) will feature Other Peoples Property. From 7:00 to 10:00pm, get half off drinks, have your tarot read, and shop local. 

The 3rd Thursday Gallery Hop is happening this Thursday in Downtown. From 5:30 to 9:00pm, with "art, food, tech, and biz." As part of it, Jai Gallery will open its newest exhibit, Le Divin Feminin

Friday, November 21st

Bring lots of blankets to this month's Movie Under the Stars in Avalon Park, showing Maleficent at 7:00pm, complete with free popcorn. 

Giant glowing cocoons are art, too, mom!! See them at the Everything is Relative Opening Reception at Twelve21 Gallery. Meet the artist herself this Friday from 6:00 to 9:00pm. 

Saturday, November 22nd

It's time for Ivanhoe Village Jingle Eve! Events include Santa's workshop, the vintage Happy Holidays sign lighting, Christmas tree lighting, samples and specials by merchants, Food Truck Bazaar, vendors, and wine stroll. Everything is free except the wine stroll ($20), which is worth an alcohol-poisoning-inducing way. 

This Saturday, Central Park embraces Fall with the 5th Annual Winter Park Harvest Festival. This free event features a market, demonstrations, workshops, kids' activities, food, and live music.

Snap! Space presents another Artist Talk, Projection & Book Signing this Saturday at 5:00pm. It's a free event, but RSVP to save a spot.

Sunday, November 23rd

Wind down the weekend with Yoga in Lake Eola Park, at the corner of E Washington Street and N Eola Drive. The free class is from 10:00am to noon.
